Transaction Type 640 Unplanned depreciation

HI Specialist

 

I have a really straight error in SAP. I have one fix asset , it was capitalized 03.04.2012 the acquisition value is 2350 euro. The NET BOOK VALUE is the same that the acquisition, because we are going to start to depreciate it at 01.04.2012.

 

Then I am trying to create one UNPLANNED depreciation for 400 euro in the area 01 and 200 euro in the area 15.

 

But when I try to use the transaction ABAA, using the transaction type 640 I get the following error:

 

Transaction in area 01 contradicts the net book value rule

Message no. AA660

Diagnosis

The document cannot be posted, as it is contrary to the net book value rule which is checked in area 01.

 

Procedure

This error usually occurs when you enter proportional values. The proportional values exceed the amount posted, for example, post capitalization of 100 but proportional depreciation to the amount 110. Check your entries and correct them if necessary.

 

- and my net book value is 2350 euro.

 

On the other hand, I change the transaction type from 640 to 650 in the same transaction ABAA. But I get the following error:

 

Unplanned depreciation positive in area 20

Message no. AA638

Asset affected: 000000016663-0000

 

Please could you help me to solve it?

Process Control in Confirmation Parameters - OPKC

Hi

 

I understand what this configuration does. but my question is

 

lets say in OPKC if I set my control as Goods issue happens later as a batch job... so my inventory is consumed physically on the line, but backflush will happen later after 6 hrs or whatever my frequency if batch job run is...if I run MRP within this period, system will think that I still have inventory of those items correct?

 

what should I do if I still want to use this fuctionality (backflush later as batch), but system should know that these are not really available, so plan for these components if demand arises in mean time if I run mrp..

 

can I use OPKC functionality for repetitive manufacturing or is this only for discrete orders?

creating a date range instead of using date data values from datasource in charts

Currently, when creating a chart in Analysis for Office, the tool will always use the values of the date data retrieved from data source, instead of creating a date range.

 

When we manually remove the single quote(') from each cell of date column then the chart is showing date but it is not retained after save/reopen.

 

Please find the attached document for details and my requirement.

 

Is there any work around to fix this problem?

 

SAP recommendation is :

 

As a workaround, maybe you could use a

script/macro in Excel to run with the workbook and remove those

apostrophes. However, this will not prevent the data cells to be

retrieved with apostrophes again when reinserting/refreshing the data

source, as this is how AO manipulate the data cells.

 

As per SAP this is by design and submitted IDEA for this.

Intercompany Deliveries were created with zero quantity, causing an idoc failure and the remaining delivery too

Intercompany Deliveries were created with zero quantity, causing an idoc failure and the remaining delivery too

 

a. User trying to create delivery but stock not available.

b. When stock is not there it should show an error message in SAP screen but its not -  like stock not available etc

c. Fedex gets delivery notice for the delivery; if its more than zero it will create delivery otherwise less than zero it won’t accept.

d. But issue its creating even its less than zero


Is there anyone who can help me out...

What database table is updated when the field CLASS in transaction code CL20N is being populated?

I went to transaction code CL20N and looked into the technical information of field CLASS.

It says it can be found in table RMCLF, but it is a structure table.

I would want to know what database table is being updated/maintained when a material is being assigned to a class.

I also looked into table AUSP, but it does not have field MATNR or OBJEK where I could link my data.

 

PLEASE HELP.

Unable to reload all the material data from r/3 to APO

We need to resend material data to APO, reinitializing integration model and running RIMODINI program is not helping. They are just sending delta load but not reloading all values.

Customer opening hours not pulling onto deliveries.

Actually opening hours are setup again ship to address ( 43176) but they are not pulling into delivery. Issue only with customers that have separate ship to & sold to address. Can anyone please assist me out.

HANA level based Hierarchy is not displaying in AOLAP

Hi all,

 

I have created a level based Hierarchy in HANA which I have been able to display in Excel using a HANA MDX Provider connection:

However when I try to use the Hierarchy in Analysis for OLAP I am unable to see it, instead the dimensions are flat:

I have used an OLAP connection to HANA which otherwise appears to be working correctly.

 

We are on SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform 4.1 Support Pack 1 Version: 14.1.1.1036.  and HANA 1.00.69.01.386065.

 

If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Experts

 

I've been trying to import fixed assets with historical depreciation on SAP 9 PL10.

Had no luck for two days now.

 

I have read all SAP Note but cannot find any answer to my error:

"Depreciation start date of asset "VH500007" for depreciation area "100" cannot be in the import fiscal year"

 

I'm using the "Import Fixed Assets Master Data from Microsoft Excel" utility.

Invoice cancellation not automatically happening.

Hello,

 

We recently upgraded from GTS 7.x to 10.1.  With this upgrade, it seems that when we cancel an invoice in ERP, it's not automatically cancelling the customs declaration in GTS.

 

When I look in ERP in IMG->Sales and Distribution->Foreign Trade/Customs->Global Trade Services->Control Data for Transfer to SAP Global Trade Services->Configure Control Settings for Document Transfer  - I look at App. Level SD0C/Document Types and see our Invoice Cancellation doc. type configured and set to call up SAP Customs Management Services.

 

In GTS, when I navigate to IMG->Global Trade Services->General Settings->Document Structure->Assign Document Type at Feeder System Group Level - I see my ERP doc type mapped to CULOEX for Application Level SD0C.

 

When I look into SM58 in ERP, nothing shows.  In GTS area menu ->System Monitoring-> Transfer Log for export, nothing will show for the cancellation.  Is anyone aware of what we may be missing here?

 

Unfortunately, we are able to review the release notes for GTS 10 and 10.1, but being that we skipped a couple of release and haven't found release notes for those releases in between, we're at a bit of a loss regarding what may have changed here.

Worflow not process tasks

Dear, It has a running Workflow for approval of Business partners; it has been used on several occasions, but there are 3 cases where the system crashes when doing the "picking" of the task. When this happens, there is no way to process it or delete it. Can you help me with this. Thank you. Best regards. Leydi Vargas.

Mobile Facilties Condition Forms

anybody out there know where in the SAP solutions world there are forms we can use in Facilities on moblie devices to conduct condition inspections and then be able to store and mine the data.  example would be if over a 6 month per period we notice that many lamps are out in certain areas then it would be more effective to change all the lamps (group relamp)..  we are struggling with paper forms now which is cumbersome, adds very little value, not very sustainable (62,750 pieces of paper annually) with no way to mine the 2,961,800 data points.  Man there has to be a better way.

Interface : ECC to HYBRIS

Hi Gurus,

 

       I have a requirement to send the data from ECC to Hybris.In ECC one custom program runs in background on daily basis and extract KNVH table data finally it creates a flat file (Application server file).So my question is how do i move this flat file data to Hybris at run-time?.Thanks in advance.

Hello ,everyone

 

I'm confusing about a question, how to jump over a blank row in a crosstab.

So is shown, I specially suppress the null value in the crosstab, because the Row/Column combination doesn't exists in the database.

 

I'm using:
